Your 2-day round-trip tour from New York City to Washington DC introduces you to some of the most important and historical landmarks in the United States, from the Lincoln Memorial and White House in DC to the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall in Philadelphia.

Day 1: New York City – Washington DC Depart Times Square by bus or coach for the drive south to Washington DC, passing through the states of Delaware and Maryland. Tour several of the capital’s top landmarks, such as Lincoln Memorial, Vietnam Veterans Memorial, Iwo Jima Memorial, Pentagon Memorial, Korean War Veterans Memorial and Arlington National Cemetery. Then stop by the White House and Capitol Hill for photo ops from the outside, and enjoy a buffet lunch at the National Air and Space Museum, part of the Smithsonian.

Day 2: Washington DC – New York City (B) Start the morning with breakfast before heading to the Hershey’s chocolate factory in Pennsylvania for a look at the history and production of this famous American chocolate brand. Then continue to Lancaster County, aka Amish Country or Pennsylvania Dutch Country, for a little sightseeing and time to enjoy lunch (own expense).
In the afternoon, arrive in Philadelphia to see some of its historical attractions, such as the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall and Franklin Court. Return to New York City in the early evening to end your overnight tour.
