This Ground Zero walking tour begins at St Paul's Chapel, the oldest public building in New York City that’s still actively used. This church survived the falling debris from the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center despite being only one block away. It became a rescue center during the aftermath of the tragedy.

As the tour continues, see Financial District landmarks like Wall Street, the New York Stock Exchange and the Federal Reserve Bank of New York Building. Visit the American Express Eleven Tears Memorial. See Federal Hall, the site of George Washington's inauguration as the first president of the United States, and Trinity Church, a landmark Episcopal church at Broadway and Wall Street.

Visit the twin reflecting pools inscribed with the names of the nearly 3,000 who died on September 11, 2001, and in its precursor attack on February 26, 1993. The pools mark the spots where the twin towers once stood, and you will have time for contemplation at this important site.

Upgrade to include timed entry into the National September 11 Museum — 110,000 square feet of exhibit space located at the heart of the World Trade Center site. The museum tells the story of 9/11 through multimedia displays, archives, narratives and a collection of artifacts, including pieces of steel from the twin towers plus 23,000 photos, over 500 hours of video and nearly 2,000 oral histories of the dead. Experience the bravery and tragedy of this powerful spot, and marvel at the Freedom Tower that now rises over this location.

Nice small group of only 5 of us. Our guide Fred was a helpful weath of knowledge. So informative and interesting. He was on the site when the attack happened Dan’s gave us some insight of his personal story. The tour and then the museum tour that followed was incredible. Really appreciate having this experience and i am thankful.

This tour was not very informative and I regret wasting the time. spent on this tour when it could easily be done independently. The guide concentrated too much on Wall Street and not enough on the 911 memorial or World Trade Center. I was very disappointed. Do not waste your money, instead purchase a ticket to the museum and listen to the audio which is way more interesting! Would not recommend it.

We did this tour in 2012 when security was quite tight, we've returned this year 2017 and you can now walk round the memorial without going through security. Our tour guide was excellent and shared with us her experience of September 11th.
Make sure you visit the American Express memorial on this tour, it's an amazingly touching memorial, which brought most of our tour to tears.

My tour was changed from Thursday to Friday, due to no other bookings on the Thursday. The tour of the World Trade Center and American Express Building was very detailed and interesting. However, I understood that this tour was also to include the Financial District so I was disappointed that the tour ended after two hours 220 pm to 420 pm, except for those continuing on to the Optional Museum ticket. I questioned if we were supposed to visit the financial District and was pointed in that direction, if I wished to go there on my own. However, the portion of the tour that we did was excellent!

Unfortunately, this tour was awful. The tour guide arrived late and was sloppily dressed in dirty pants, rumpled shirt. He acted strange, stopping at frequent intervals to pick up trash! He had very limited knowledge of the subject of the tour and often seemed to be distracted. When we asked a question, he either gave a nebulous answer, or looked it up on his cell phone, or asked a street vendor for the answer. I hesitate to give this tour even one star...we were very disappointed.

Definitely go to the Museum. I would bypass the walking tour. It was lengthy and we did not see much or learn anything that was worth the money. If there was something you really wanted to see, do it on your own time. It could have been our guide as well. He didn't seem very interested in the information he was giving us on the spots we visited. I would have rather spent the time at the 9/11 Memorial and Museum.

Very touching and emotional. The tour make you go back in time and reflect on how awful this attack was.
Debbie was a fantastic guide, and was able to make me cry with the stories she told
