Ireland’s oldest thatched pub and famous traditional music venue. A traditional Irish pub dating back to 1654 and a regular haunt of the poet. On the way you will enjoy a panoramic view of Seamus Heaney's South Derry with his beloved Lough Neagh and Lough Beg in full view.

An original 17th Century castle, Bellaghy Bawn has been restored as a visitor centre telling the history, culture and environmental heritage of the area which fascinated Seamus Heaney throughout his life.
