I'm a huge fan of hop on hop off but this one didn't strike a cord. Everything was within walking distance. Buses only ran once an hour so if you got off you needed to spend an hour before the next t bus.
Thank you for your review, however I must disagree with you on your point that everything is in walking distance. You must be a very keen walker! Its 9 kms between our stop at Crown and Kings Park alone. Optus Stadium, Crown and the jewel of the city, Kings Park are all out of town and I would certainly not be able to walk to any of them.
Nothing better than taking a hop-on hop-off bus when visiting a new city, and this includes Perth! The Big Bus took us around all the best locations as an audible tour guide provided stories surrounding the history of amazing Perth. We had one exceptionally safe tour driver., The full tour loop lasted about two hours as we did not get off the bus on our first loop. We selected the 48-hour ticket, which well suited our schedule and pocket book. The 11 stops were then available again on another loop to hop off and hop on to check out the attractions. A personal tour guide, having good local knowledge would make the rating of this attraction a 5 star.... Learn the city of Perth, Enjoy the Ride!
A great bus to see the main attraction in Perth. Friendly driver tour guide with clear commentary. Its great for the first time visitor to Perth. Easy hop on and hop off stops. It will be better if the last bus can end later in the evening like around 8pm. Overall great bus to take.Love it!
