  • Excursion to Prague's oldest vineyard
  • 1-hour guided tour of St Clare's Vineyard, dating from the 13th century
  • Learn how grapes are harvested and wine is processed by ancient methods here
  • Tasting in the wine cellar, including 2 bottles to take home with you
  • Stay on the vineyard grounds after your tour to explore further
Make your way to the outskirts of Prague to St Clare's Vineyard, one of the city's oldest vineyards. Contact your tour operator ahead of time for advice on the best transportation options to the tour location.

At the main entrance of St Clare's, meet your local guide and proceed on your 1-hour guided tour of the vineyards, which date back to the 1200s. Walk through the old-growth vines and learn about how the wine here is still harvested and processed by hand; the terrain doesn't allow the use of machines. View a wine house from the 1700s where the wine is processed, then proceed to the cellar for a tasting. You'll receive 2 bottles of the vineyard's best varietal; it's up to you whether you'd like to taste on the spot or take them with you.

After the tour, feel free to stay and explore further, enjoying the views and the ambiance. Ask your guide for suggestions about nearby restaurants or other attractions.
