This tour was a great way to introduce us to Rarotonga and to learn about life on the island. Our tour guide James was very knowledgeable. He explained some of the Maori history and how the island is divided into districts with chiefs. He also explained the political arrangement with New Zealand. Our light refreshment stop was more like lunch with all manner of fruit and banana bread. James also showed us how coconut is opened and its importance to the island. It was great to eat fresh coconut Thank you James,
Kevin and Jenny.
