Well organized small tour with Big Almafi Coast Experience!
, Jun 2019
After looking through numerous Almafi Coast tours and reading reviews where everyone felt like they were cattle, I chose to go with a tour that had a max of 20 people. We lucked out and only had 8. From the beginning of the tour in Rome everything was organized and the guide there provided us with our tickets and clear instructions of what to do, when to get off, etc. When we arrived in Napoli, Enzo and our our tour driver were punctual and spoke great English! Along the way, we received so much background on the history of Naples, Pompeii, Capri, Sorrento, and Almafi I could write a book! We made several stops along the way to take breath-taking photos. In each city, our guide would give us a quick 5 mins tour and then we were off on our own. The boat ride in Almafi made the trip worthwhile. I can't wait to return and spend a couple days in that area.
My only recommendation for future tours is to take some time 5-10 mins from the other smaller stops and allow for more time in Almafi or set the expectation of how long we'll have there in total so we can decide if we want to take a lunch or walk around more.
Highly recommend this tour!!

We (my 27 y.o. son, his best gal friend, and I) thoroughly enjoyed every moment of this adventure. Our guide Fabian was superbly well versed; pleasant demeanor (even when asked some altogether head scratching questions!). Every tour seems to have at least one of these folks...tour wouldn’t be complete, I suppose! At any rate, Positano and Amalfi were absolutely stunning both from land and sea, the restaurant for lunch simply delicious. Anthony our driver skillfully traversed all of the mountainous sharp turns and all the crazy Italian scooter drivers with ease. The scenery all day breathtaking. We ended the day at a mozzelrella cheese making demonstration and tasting ...best buff mozzarella I have ever put in my mouth! This was a magnificent day, if you have the opportunity, don’t pass it up!!!
This day trip was our favorite excursion while in Italy. High speed train from Rome to Naples, then a small tour bus to Positano and Amalfi, with the highly experienced driver Antonio and the SUPER tour guide Fabian. Don’t drive on your own, you need expert help to navigate this stunning winding mountain road along the Amalfi Coast. Fabian spoke perfect English and knows everything you could possibly imagine about the history of this region. I can’t overhype this, it was truly amazing.
Tour was great. the Guide very informative and bus driver very , very good. Enjoyed the little things that they did to make the trip more unique and enjoyable - the making of the mozzarella was outstanding
This tour was outstanding! Its a long day but its worth every minute. We took the train to Naples where we were met by our tour guide and hopped on a charter bus. Our first stop was to the Lemoncello Factory where we spent about 30 minutes. Then we went to Pasatano and it was awesome with lots of shopping. We spent around 2 hours there and then we took another hour ride on the bus to the Amalfi Coast. We at lunch at a restaurant the tour guide recommend and the food was outstanding! The best food I had the whole trip. Then we went to the place where they make the mozzarella cheese. It was delicious! It was a long day but worth every minute.
This tour had it all! The high speed train was the best way to get to Napoli. The guide met us and we took a bus the rest of the day, We stopped for time to use bathrooms along the way. We visited a limoncello factory, Positano, Amalfi Coast, and saw how mozzarella is made. There was also an option for a boat tour in Amalfi, but I sat on the pier instead. Our guide was super fun and very knowledgeable. One of the best tours I have done. Very highly recommend this tour. Was a long day, but totally worth it.
