Cordoba Day Trip from Seville Including Skip-the-Line Ticket to Cordoba Mosque and Optional Tour of Carmona

Very enjoyable trip to the Cordoba Alcázar, cathedral and Jewish quarter. Our guide, Azahara, was very knowledgeable and made the trip a lot of fun as well as educational. Thoroughly recommended.

I booked for a trip to Cordoba AND optional tour of Carmona. And this happened to be the worst experience with Viator ever.
The local agent is very disorganized and unprofessional. We were told to go and wait at their office at 8:15am but we were left standing on the streets. We called the emergency number they gave but the person who picked up is on her first day at work and doesn't know anything. Until about 8:30 then were we told to wait somewhere else Hotel Becquer.
My trip is Cordoba AND optional Carmona. But at the end of the day - they claimed its optional. I felt cheated.
Andalsur is of no help as they did not provide a guide on the bus. The person is just a facilitator who knew nothing.

For what was not a cheap tour, we, and most of our tour group, felt cheated. The tour guide was so disinterested, he did not speak or comment at all, either going, or on the return journey to Cordoba. In fact, he took a seat at the rear of the bus, and slept for the return journey. He rushed and hurried our group off the bus, not giving any consideration for tour group members with mobility issues. For this, he should be disciplined, and sent on a refresher course for tour guides, and how to treat tourists! The was no free time within the Mosque/Cathedral, and approx. 2hrs given for lunch, before returning to Seville. The 'optional tour' to Carmona, didn't exist, and all of the group with whom I spoke said they felt cheated and rushed all day. The single exception was the young lady guide who walked us around the great Mosque/Cathedral, and Old city of Cordoba - she was excellent. Remember, there are mroere than just this tour operator provider on the market when you check out tours from Seville!

An awesome tour! Our guide Anna was fantastic and guide us through the city's Alcazar, the Jewish Quarter and the Mesquita. Highly recommended!

Information provided by the tour guide is very interesting and informative. The mosque and alcazar is very beautiful. Only the tour is too short and wish it to be longer. And the tour guide may be a little bit too rush to move. Others are perfect.

A different tour guide took us on the bus from Seville to Córdoba but we were handed off to a local tour guide when we got there. She was very knowledgeable but I guess a little bit TOO knowledgeable! She did so much talking, shared so much facts and information it became really boring! I guess if you’re a history fanatic this tour would be great but for regular tourists like us who just wanted to know simple but important facts, this tour seemed to drag on. We stood around a lot (under the hot sun) while our guide talked and talked and talked. Only interesting site I found was the Mezquita (Córdoba Mosque). I could have skipped this tour altogether.

Our tour guide was Ana, and I'm sorry, but she had to be the worst tour guide I have ever had in my years of travelling. First off, the Seville Alcazar is 10 times better than Cordoba's, and it was almost a waste of time to see it. The Cordoba Mosque/Church is absolutely amazing and a must see, but you could probably take a bus or train here and save the money.

Ana was our tour guide, and she was very informative and knew a lot about the sites, but she would just talk and talk and talk as well as talk extremely fast. She talked for 1 hour about the story of Spain standing in the heat when we could have learned that on the bus the way there. She then talked for 30 min about a Roman column that was in the dirt like it was the most beautiful thing in the world. She just would give you way more information than you would care about. She could have told us the story about the roman column in 2 sentences, instead, we stood looking a column in the dirt for 30 min and a complete waste of time. Our tour had roughly 30 people in it, and after the story of Spain for an hour, people stopped caring about anything she had to say after that. Her story's were so long it made people not care what she had to say because they didn't want to stand there and listen for 30 min at each stop when t could have been said while walking past it.

After about half way through the tour, about 1/3 of our group just left and once we heard the first story i the mosque/church, everyone else left besides a handful of people. Ana completely ruined the whole day on this tour for my group, and I wish I would have just taken a bus or train and seen these by myself.

Picked up from the hotel and driven to Cordoba where our tour guide Ana met our small English speaking group. Ana was a wonderful guide, very enthusiastic, lots of interesting stories, and passionate about sharing the history and culture of her home town. She was the highlight of my trip to Spain!

My family and I had a fantastic day on this tour. It exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend it. We did not opt for the optional tour of Carmona.
