After morning pickup in Sydney, enjoy the scenic drive to the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains National Park.

Stretch your legs and meet amazing native Australian animals during a stop at Featherdale Wildlife Park. You might like to hand-feed the kangaroos and emus, or have your photo taken with a Koala. Plus. Be sure to bring your camera for great photo opportunities!

Once you reach the Blue Mountains, stop at Echo Point to admire one of the Blue Mountains’ most heralded sights: the Three Sisters. Your guide explains local lore about this sculptural rock formation, which sits above the picturesque Jamison Valley. Next up, a nature hike to stunning Wentworth Falls. Then choose from several tour options at Scenic World (own expense). You might ride the rails or take to the air in a gondola to view the rainforest and valleys of the Blue Mountains.

Expect a break for lunch in Katoomba, a charming village in the Blue Mountains. You can either bring your own picnic or stop into one of the town’s fine cafes to purchase your lunch. Throughout the day, your guide provides informative commentary about the sights along with time for photo ops and rest stops.

As your small group-tour heads back towards Sydney in the afternoon, stop at Olympic Park, where the Olympic Games were held in the year 2000. Then hop on board a comfortable boat and glide along the Parramatta River. Take in the waterfront homes and lush greenery as you cruise back to the city. Once you pass under Sydney Harbour Bridge, it’s not long before your boat docks at Circular Quay where your full-day Blue Mountains tour ends.

Although the weather was not so friendly, I enjoyed walking in the valley. The waterfall was beautiful and walking in the forest was a great experience. Thank you!!

Steve was a very good guide and the day was well put together. We both enjoyed it.Were puzzled by the sign in the bus that said you had to have a seat belt yet there was just provision for front seat guests and the driver. Perhaps the buses used need an update

Steve was a great tour guide and bus driver, with lots of knowledge and a great sense of humor. You get to pet a lot of the animals at the wildlife park. Steve points out lots of good restaurant choices at the lunch stop. The national park is very scenic. You will enjoy the skyway and the descent into the rain forest on the canyon floor. The ferry ride from Olympic park back to circular Quay is a nice touch to a fun-filled day.

One of the best from Down Under!

The driver provided excellent information and took us to some wonderful view sites. I was disappointed that I had to spend an additional $33 if I wanted to go to the valley and walk the boardwalk through the rainforest. It appears the only way to get down there is to take the cable car and then the railcars. The riverboat cruise was mostly in the dark so I could not see much. The Blue Mountain views were worth the trip.

Mark gave an amazing tour! He went above and beyond to give us the best tour. He stayed on time while also giving us the chance to see the mountains and the rain forest. We would highly recommend this tour!

Our tour guide Steve is knowledgeable and has a great sense of humour. Ours was a small group 12pax and I think it would be great if he was more engaging. There really wasn't much interaction within the group. Nonetheless, this tour was well planned and the sights were awesome.

My husband and I had the most amazing time in Sydney and this trip was one of the highlights. I chose this package simply because it's a small group, and the price is reasonable compared with others. Being an introvert, this arrangement is the most suitable for me. Our trip began with a visit to Featherdale Wildlife Park. I appreciate that it was the first stop in our itinerary because we were the first group to arrive so we were able to enjoy walking around without bumping into crowds. The koalas are the cutest! Our tour guide, Mark, was great too. He had plenty of anecdotes to keep us company while travelling. Our next stop was the Blue Mountains. Frankly, this is just a wide landscape of well, mountains so level your expectations. We availed the additional scenic route for AUD 39 which consists of a ride in a cable car and a steep railroad plus a kind of walking trail. Then we headed off for lunch on quaint town before going into an off road hiking. I truly appreciate the spontaneity of it because it wasn't part of the itinerary. We went into a hill (I forgot the name) and the view was majestic. Also, the weather couldn't have been more perfect which made our little hike nice and easy. But I guess what I appreciate most in this tour is that Mark was able to accommodate my request to visit Lincoln's Rock. I'm glad we went there because it was gorgeous! That's probably one of the perks of small group tours-more flexibility. We really enjoyed our tour and we highly recommend this to everyone.
