I booked this tour at the last minute and, as the only participant, paid a much higher price. My chief interest, while i love to eat, was learning how this mosque integrated Chinese culture. It was worth it! Jayne, the tour guide, more than made the extra cost worthwhile. He arrived on time, spoke clear English, was personally engaging and informed. He provided me with a wealth of information on the history and culture. He fairly represented the historical cross-currents between Islam and Chinese culture. And the gourmet part of the tour? Nothing was held back. Only my fully-satiated appetite prevented me from trying more. The cuisine introduced me to many new flavors. I recommend this tour and Jayne without reservation!
