Why Travellers Choose This Tour

Spend a relaxing couple hours atop Jungfraujoch, and explore both its Sphinx Observatory and Ice Palace.
Start your day trip from the bus terminal in central Zurich and depart by coach for the scenic journey south. Travel among the towering peaks of Switzerland's Bernese Oberland to Lauterbrunnen, where a cogwheel train carries you up to Europe’s highest-altitude train station, situated in a UNESCO-listed Alpine wilderness.
The 50-minute train ride winds through the Kleine Scheidegg mountain pass in the Burnese Alps. Upon arrival at Jungfraujoch, situated at an elevation of 11,333 feet, disembark at the Top of Europe and head to the Alpine Sensation—a round-tour subway opened to mark the centenary of the Jungfrau Railway.
Head to the Ice Palace for a glacier walk and stop at the Sphinx Observatory for sweeping views of Europe's longest glacier: Aletsch Glacier. From viewing platforms, enjoy a 360-degree panorama of this winter wonderland draped in a breathtaking display of ice and snow. On a clear day, look beyond to the mountain peaks of neighboring Italy and France.
If you wish, purchase a snack or warm drink at the on-site restaurant (own expense) before the return cogwheel train ride down to Lauterbrunnen, where your coach awaits. Relax on the drive back to Zurich, arriving at the bus terminal in the evening.

An unforgettable and memorable day! We were so lucky to have perfect weather and our views were absolutely breathtaking from the top. Our guide, Kid, was an absolute card and added fun to the travelling time. A definite must-do day trip for everyone visiting Zurich.

The trip was well planned and there was ample time to explore all locations. The bus ride from Zurich to train station was scenic with the guide providing info all around and identifying picture spots throughout the journey. The guide was knowledgeable and helped the entire group to take pictures and give insights of all the spots visited. Definitely recommend the trip
Awesome Visit and Destination - made possible by a great guide (Kidd)

Overall this tour met and exceeded my expectations. Right from stepping on the bus, you're welcomed and treated with excellent customer service. Our guide was Kid-d, who made the trip! Jungfraujoch can be pretty busy, I went on a Thursday, on a nice day, and it was PACKED! Using a guide really helped maximize the day, and even cut some of the lines to take the various trains up and down the mountains. The one thing to expect is that you don't have hours on end to spend really looking, appreciating, and marveling at the sites, as there is a schedule to do. As most other reviews, it would have been nice to have a longer time spent in Interlaken - but the traffic is unpredictable, and the tourist crowds can be crazy at times. I plan to come visit this place once more and would defintiely use this guide again!

This Tour has to be on everyone’s list of must do’s!. So much to pack into one day but so worth it. Tour guide kept the group on schedule for multiple train and stops along the way. He made sure we all got some excellent exciting photos along the amazing journey to remember our trip to the top of Europe!

Tour guide makes a big difference

I would recommend this tour hands down. Great views on the way to the mountains. The Ice Palace was so much fun and the summit experience is worth it. But what made the tour much more fun is Kid, our guide. He's amazing and so funny! He knows exactly where the picturesque views are and alerts us ahead of time to get our cameras ready in "3-2-1-Come on!" He even takes pictures of us with our heads outside the train window for great cinematic shots. He's sensitive to the needs of his clients. He noticed that one lady's camera is running out of juice. He looked for a plug to charge it. My son was feeling nauseous on the way down from Jungfraujoch. He took care of him and kept asking how he's feeling and if he wants to sit down. He's one of the reasons our family will always cherish our Top of the Europe experience.
