Why Travellers Choose This Tour

Combine Old Town sightseeing with a decadent dessert-tasting tour on this two-in-one, small-group outing.
Start your 2.5-hour walking tour at Paradeplatz, where you’ll meet up with your guide, a local food writer and chocolate connoisseur with a working knowledge of Zurich’s artisanal sweet shops. From this main square, embark on an afternoon stroll with your small group through the cobbled streets of Altstadt, or Old Town, the historical heart of Zurich.
Chat with shop owners eager to share their passion for Swiss chocolate, and hear about its rich history. Discover the origins of the cacao bean while you indulge in single-origin chocolates.
You’ll enjoy a cup of specially churned hot chocolate at Zurich’s oldest confectionery, and taste an array of delectable treats — including nougats, pralines, truffles, pastries, cupcakes and homemade ice cream — at shops along your way.
After you sample a tantalizing range of decadent sweets, conclude your food walking tour of Zurich at the Rathaus (Town Hall) in the early evening.

Lexi was amazing! We had so much fun and tasted some great chocolate and other sweets. While wandering the little streets and alleys I saw a handbag that I wanted to check out. Lexi took the time to take us back to the boutique at the end of our tour.

Sue was a wonderful tour guide. She was knowledgeable and helpful. Lots of sweets and fun. Really got a feel for the city.

The tour (and our guide) was outstanding. We covered both large and small shops. We interacted with the personnel in each shop and enjoyed just the right amount of samples. Our guide was outstanding. She had done her homework and had the answers to all of our questions. I highly recommend the tour.

one of the worst tour ever. Spent 450 cad for 4 people only to eat slivers of chocolate tasting where any tourist could eat without joining group. We were promised ice cream, nougat, parlines and blah blah blah. Didnt happen. We only ate a mini cupcake, picked three chocolate and litterlly the rest is just slivers of chocolate shavings anyone can eat without joing this overpriced tour. Lexi seems nice but that does not justify the price paid and calling a chocolate and sweet walking tour. We started at springli, the oldest chocolatier in zurich, she made us stand in front of a busy intersection, talked for 15 minute about the chocolate then told us there are no tasting there, we are just going in and browse around. Ridiculous. Never again! Dont waste your money.

This was a lovely tour by a delightful guide! Great chocolate too!!!

Our guide Lexie was great! I am only giving this a 3 star rating because some of the items mentioned were not delivered, like tasting of home made ice cream. There was no tasting of ice cream during the tour. The chocolate part of the tour was good. I also feel that this tour is way overpriced for what we got otherwise was ok.

A great way to end our time in Switzerland Our guide gave a thorough explanation of the process for making high quality chocolate, the history, technique, background. The pride that the shops had of their specific specialty was obvious. Helped us pick out our favorites to take home to enjoy.

Lexie was great, but would like a little bit more interesting facts/history of Zurich. We also had cupcakes instead of ice cream, and would have preferred the ice cream. Cupcakes had a butter cream frosting, which needs to be eaten at room temperature rather than cold.
All three chocolatiers were fabulous. Loved the macarons, chocolates and the hot chocolate was wonderful!

Delightful. Our guide was marvelous and shared her knowledge of the old town as well as the history of chocolate. Tastes were delicious.

The tour was ok, the guide was very friendly and outgoing, made us feel welcome. Unfortunately for what it was - in effect a walk around the town whilst being encouraged to spend money - the tour was overpriced.
