The information given was just right not to much and the tour was kept moving at a good steady pace. To bus trip was good then onto the walking tour of old Zurich. Then we loaded the boat had a nice ride around the lake to depart at the chocolate shop. Prices were great
Had a wonderful time on the Zurich tour. It was a beautiful day and really enjoyed the lake cruise.there was a .lot more walking then I expected and was not told there would be. But other than thatthe guide was great.
This tour was excellent when we took it in 2017. We had a great guide and a small group that continued on the cruise and to the chocolate factory. I'm not sure why Viator and the tour company had us on the list for the same day a year later. The tour company called to see why we were not at the meeting point. Can you make sure there is no cost implications to this mix up?We visited in September 2017 but that is not one of the choices below.
We did not realize that we would have to walk so much between all of the locations. For example after we left the lake cruise, instead of being picked up by the bus and brought to the chocolate factory, we had to walk probably 2K or a mile uphill. How difficult would it have been for them to pick us up and drop us off at the next location? Do not take this tour if you have any knee or hip issues or aren't an avid walker. The other aspects of the tour were fine, very informative. The walking was grueling!
We really enjoyed the tour, but when it was booked, we really were not aware of the amount of walking involved. We had one person who walks with a cane and she had a very hard time trying to keep up. The walk from the very enjoyable boat tour to the chocolate shop was quite long and arduous. The tour director tried to slow it down for some members of our group. Overall, we enjoyed it.
The tour was way more than I expected. It was 5 1/2 hours long with a bus ride, some walking with a guide giving information, then the cruise and chocolate store. The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. It was a great experience!
This tour was pretty cool, and kind of relaxing being on the waters in Switzerland. There are not many vegetarian options, if you're hungry on the boat, which was disappointing. However, being able to visit the Sprungli Lindt Chocolate Factory was amazing, chocolate galore.
