The tour takes place in the marvelous paths of the itria valley between Locorotondo Alberobello and Cisternino, we will visit wonderful places surrounded by the ancient trulli of the Itria valley, aboard wonderful electric bicycles. We will start from Martina Franca and through ancient roads very suggestive we will arrive in Locorotondo where we will visit its famous historical center, we will take some pictures together, our tour will continue to stop at the famous Alberobello through hidden and non-trafficked paths. At Alberobello we will take a 30-minute break, take a coffee and we will visit the famous church of Sant'Antonio and the monte district.

Outside you will visit the Messapian necropolis until you reach the outside of the castle, of Norman manufacture or earlier, dominates the highest part of the city and is its symbol.Currently the house is private and can be visited only on pre-established dates.Do not miss the Torneo dei Rioni challenge in August, since 1967, is the most important historical-medieval event in southern Italy.
The paths through the olive groves are truly wonderful and the history along the way is quite fascinating. Some of the olive trees are very old and were planted by the Romans! Daniele is very passionate about the area and the history. He brought us to a family owned Masseria to try and purchase some cheese. We stopped along the way for Daniele to point out special features and visited historic and working olive mills. Daniele is super nice, his English is great and he is very accomodating! The tour ended with a beautiful red sunset. We enjoyed the tour so much, we rented bikes for another day. Must do when you want to combine some activity with exploring the region and history of it!
