The Kalamazoo Nature Center is a natural oasis in the middle of the city. A single ticket grants entry to the 1,100-acre (445-hectare) grounds, including 16 hiking trails, wildlife viewing stations, an arboretum, a butterfly garden, and more. Stroll through the grounds on your own any time of year, including the option to snowshoe or cross-country ski in the winter.
