Peru, with more than 1800 bird species, is the second country in the world with the most avian diversity. Only Lima has around 370 species, from which 18 are endemic. On the first stop you will discover many of the marshes and coastal birds in a natural protected area, unique because of its location within the urban area of Lima,next to the sea. Among others, we might see Many-colored Rush-Tyrant, Wren-like Rushbird, Peruvian Meadowlark, Andean Gull and Puna Ibis.On the second stop, a local park, you will be able to see a very good sample of the birds you can find in the urban area of Lima. For example: Vermilion Flycatcher, Tropical Kingbird, West Peruvian Dove and Saffron Finch.
