Spend two days searching for African Wildlife. The Addo and the Mountain Zebra national reserves are each unique and showcase different parts of South Africa. Addo Elephant National Park is the third biggest reserve in South Africa at well over 200000 hectares. The animals are in an entirely wild habitat and the Addo Elephants are renowned for being 'Gentle Giants'. They are usually quite calm, allowing for great close-up viewing and excellent photo opportunities. It is the only 'Big 7' Reserve in the World. The Park has incorporated a Marine Protected Area where, on a Marine Safari, you could see the Southern Right Whale (seasonal) & Great White Shark as well as the African Penguin and Bottlenose Dolphins. Combine this with the 'Big 5', Elephant, Lion, Buffalo,Rhino and Leopard at the main park and it is now known as a 'Big 7' Reserve. The Park also boasts 5 of the 7 biomes in South Africa.
The Addo Elephant Park is a vast reserve where the animals move freely. We never know what is around the next corner as we drive through the reserve.

The Day / Night Safari in Addo gives you a special glimpse at a day in the life of these Giants of Africa. Elephants are amazing animals and one can spend hours watching their social behaviour. We also spend the afternoon looking for a variety of Antelope; the Plains Zebra; the Cape Buffalo and other endemic wildlife. .
Predators such as the Jackal; Lions and Hyena are not easy to find so no guarantees.
The Night Drive.
You are able to see animals in the evening which are not often seen during the day. Examples might be the Aardvark; Hyena; Porcupine and other night creatures.
A professional Ranger Guide takes you on an adventure surrounded by wild animals. He or she is able to provide you with a host of information as well as answers to your questions

Canoe Trail in South Africa. The journey begins at the Sundays River Adventures’ jetty aboard our 4-metre double canoes and continues for 13km along the Sundays River to your overnight accommodation.
You’ll experience the thrill and excitement on the river while looking out for the more than 200 recorded species of birds, and the sneaky mullet fish actively jumping into or over the canoes. Keep your eyes peeled for kudu, bushbuck, porcupines, Cape otters, vervet monkeys and other wildlife hiding in the bushes along the banks of the river.
Finish off your day with a well-deserved barbeque meal and a cold beverage while enjoying the view of the beautiful sunset from our deck.
