This 2 Day plan of the Zona Cafetera is not for the light-hearted, as it includes a 6 hour hike through the Acaime Ranges, including the Wax Palm Forrest of the Cocora Valley reaching the height of 2,860m / 9,383ft (so you’ll need a good jacket or sweater and a good level of fitness is recommended for this hike), the following day will continue with more walking, but this time at a more relaxed pace through the Fauna and Flora Sanctuary of Otún Quimbaya.
