Make your way to the Robot City office on Carrer de l’almirall Aixada 14 to greet your guide. Following a short orientation session, you’ll have time to practice maneuvering your self-balancing Segway under the intruction of your guide.
Then, you’ll head to Barceloneta Beach, a curve of golden sand flanked by numerous skyscrapers, and glide along the promenade to the Old Port of Barcelona, built as part of an urban rejuvenation project prior to the 1992 Barcelona Olympics.
Gaze upwards at the Columbus Monument, from whose summit Christopher Columbus beckons to the New World, and then continue down La Rambla, Barcelona’s bustling central boulevard, to Parc de la Ciutadella.
Within Barcelona’s grand green space, you’ll admire monumental fountains and landmarks before gliding through the dramatic Arc de Triumph that heralds the park’s entrance.
Slalom through the Olympic Port, which played host to the 1992 Olympics, before ascending to Parc del Forum, an architectural amalgamation from which stunning views of sea and city can be enjoyed.
Your tour then concludes back at your original departure point at the Robot City office.
