Admire the Swiss-style architecture of the wooden buildings that hold shops renting expedition gear for adventures in the surrounding mountains. Stop to purchase lunch and have a glass of wine (own expense) at one of the many charming restaurants or cafes that line the lanes.

Board your bus for the return trip, relaxing into your seat as you drive through Paso Cordoba (Cordoba Pass) at an elevation of 3,940 feet (1,200 meters.) Pass spectacular scenery such as the Valle Encantado (Enchanted Valley) the Anfiteatro (a natural rock amphitheater) and the meeting of the Limay and Traful rivers. Arrive back in Bariloche for drop-off at your hotel in the early evening.

Nice daytrip

A 360km (return) drive through a scenic route with multiple stops on the way to take photos. You also get to spend some time in two small mountain towns. Friendly and chatty guide and a driver with a great taste in music. English and Spanish spoken.

A lovely day out!

This is just a coach/minibus trip stopping off at nice viewpoints of the 7 lakes, plus a couple of hours for lunch and a stroll in San Martin. So, you're not signing up for anything especially exciting or different. However, if you've come halfway across the world to visit this area (as we had), it's nice to take the opportunity to see a bit more of the surrounding area, as it is very beautiful scenery. Vivienne (guide) and Manuel (driver), were great people to spend the day with, being relaxed and humourous, but also offering a lot of information. The only thing we would have changed is the coffee stop at an isolated farmhouse, as this place was just a bit too rustic for us and we did not eat or drink anything, fearing that the place might not be sanitised enough. We would have preferred a coffee stop at a nice-looking town with decent restaurants which we had passed through about 10 mins before. But, overall, and in spite of poor weather, we enjoyed the day out and were glad we went.

Unfortunately Patagonia weather is unpredictable so we weren't able to see all the beautiful scenery. However, the tour itself is well-planned in terms of stops for food as well as scenic. Also, Claudio our driver and Pato our guide were really great! They really listened and customized the tour to the people on it. It was a great time!

A nice day trip with beautiful scenery but grossly overpriced for what is actually included. All the tour consists of is driving you around to the lakes to stop for 5 minutes for pictures and leaving you in San Martin for a few hours on your own. I sort of expected this from the description but thought the scenery would be so overwhelming as to justify the price - in my opinion it wasn't. If you are comfortable driving then hire a car or even consider hiring a taxi for the day. The description said 3hrs in San Martin and get back around 5pm. We only had 2hrs in San Martin and got back at 7pm. Also alot of the shops in San Martin are closed from about 1pm to 5pm anyway. While the lakes are beautiful to see the tour should have at least included lunch for the price. On a positive note, the guide spoke excellent English and was very good.

Dear Jessica, we are very sorry that the tour has not fulfilled your expectations. We understand your point but unfortunately, in relation to the distances we cannot do anything. Between Bariloche a San Martin de los Andes is where the "Camino de los Siete Lagos" is located. We also offer private services, in smaller vehicles and with a more flexible itinerary, for those passengers who request it. We are glad to know that the tour guide did your day a better experience. Thank you for your comments as it helps us to improve our services, Kind regards

The trip through the 7 lake country with the snow capped Andes as a backdrop was spectacular. We had an awesome guide, and despite the fact my wife and I were the only English speaking people on the bus, our guide took the time to describe everything to us in English. A great trip at a reasonable price.
