I learned a lot about Bordeaux and got to see quite a bit of the city on this tour. I felt a little awkward as the only non-French speaker in the group, but the guide was very good about translating and explaining what we were seeing.

Disappointing! The guide was clearly not pleased to see how many were in the group and even less pleased that some of us only spoke English. He was, however, very well informed but he had to speak in French, then English, and he spoke so quickly it was hard to understand anything.
There was no form of introduction he just said this way

This tour was amazing!

Well worth the money. We walked through the area of the Bourse, the Quais in that area, and down to the medieval city. Our guide was knowledgeable, offered perspective, and was very good at noting how much the city has changed over the years. I wished for more, but she gave us two hours and then offered a wonderful suggestion for lunch.

This was an easy, pleasant 2 hour stroll around Bordeaux in the company of a very informative guide. A good way to get to know the history, sights, architecture of the city.

The success of tour like this is largely dependent on the guide and we were so lucky to have Michael Haddak who made us all feel very welcome and as well as being very knowledgeable - he also has a great energy which really adds to the tour. Thank you again for arranging such a great, interactive and fun tour.

The guide was very soft spoken and it was difficult to hear what she had to say about each place we stopped. I believe the enthusiasm was lacking and the tour would have been much more productive had we had a person that was aware of the groups size and communicated using eye contact and dialogue to insure that all were able to hear the content of the presentation. Disappointing to say the least.
