Meet your group and guide at the Asian-inspired eatery, Fuji, at Assembly Row in the Boston area. This 2-hour walking wine tour starts at 3pm and is offered on most Saturdays.
Follow your guide's instructions as he gets you prepped with your wine tastings at Fuji. There is also one food tasting at each stop. At Fuji, it’ll be salmon wonton chips, which are a mixture of salmon sashimi, tomatoes, onion, tobiko, and cilantro over wonton chips. The wines you sample here include one from New Zealand and two from France.
After Fuji, your group moves on to a family-run restaurant (Earls Kitchen + Bar) that’s well known for its delectable comfort food. The food tasting here is crispy chicken wings tossed in spicy Korean pepper sauce, and topped with fried onions and sesame seeds. The wines you get to try at this place include one from Spain and two from the United States, specifically Oregon and California.
When your tour ends at about 7pm, your guide leaves you at Earls Kitchen + Bar. It’s your choice whether to stay and have some more wine and food or to head home.
