From the ship’s three outdoor decks, view humpback, fin, minke and pilot whales, plus Atlantic white-sided dolphins, harbour porpoises and more with the help of a naturalist from the Whale Center of New England. Have tried to see a whale for 30 years and finally saw some, not very much of them but I guess we did it!

Cruise does a great job to take you out far enough so that you can see lots of whales. These beautiful mammals were usually seen the most at 11, 12, 1, 2 and 3 o'clock locations from the boat. Strongly suggest you consider taking Dramamine prior to your departure, as ride out to the marine sanctuary was choppy.

Self, wife and daughter had taken the afternoon tour. A highspeed catamaran took us around 70 km inside the ocean to Whale Sanctuary and stayed there for about 45 minutes. We viewed score of whales up close, four whales just floated around the boatcatamaran, one of them dived just below the railings we were standing. Experience of a lifetime! Highhly recommended.

The boat operators were great and we saw lots of whales. There is a good café on board and the commentary was helpful. HOWEVER, when we arrived 45 mins early the operator had no space on the 10am trip and blamed Viator for not registering us on that trip, though did have a record that we'd paid. I don't know if it was the operator or Viator to blame, but I suggest not using Viator to book this tour.

At first I was dreading this because so many people were getting the boat
But we saw so many whales it was very worth it!

We got to see and circle 3 whales (or be circled by??) and ended up back in Boston about 45 min later than our tour was supposed to end. It was a wonderful trip.

This trip was absolutely AMAZING. It was breathtaking seeing the mother Humpback and her calf. I do not agree with keeping animals/mammals in zoo's and aquariums so this trip for me, seeing the whales where they should be in their own environment was absolutely awesome!
