  • Explore historic Plymouth and Cap Cod on a small-group excursion
  • Visit Sandwich's Heritage Museum and Gardens
  • Experience daily life in the 17th century at the Plimouth Plantation
  • See the famous Plymouth Rock and nearby Plymouth Harbor
  • Hotel pickup and drop-off included from select Boston hotels
  • Includes all entrance fees, bottled water and snacks, and special trip discounts
Receive a morning pickup from select Boston hotels, after which you’ll travel with the rest of your group aboard an air-conditioned mini coach, proceeding over the Cape Cod Canal on the way to Sandwich, the area’s oldest town.

Explore downtown Sandwich before heading to the Heritage Museum and Gardens, a complex that’s know for its picturesque grounds, an American Folk Art collection, still-working carousel that dates to 1919, and the American Antique Auto Museum.

Leave Sandwich behind and continue to Plymouth. You’ll start by chowing down like the city’s famous “Pilgrims” during a lunch stop for a discounted turkey dinner (own expense). Then get a better sense for daily life in the 17th century at the town’s Plimouth Plantation museum. When you leave the museum, proceed to Plymouth Harbor to check out the famous Plymouth Rock, followed by free time for souvenir shopping and independent sightseeing.

Finish the trip by proceeding to the National Monument to the Forefathers, known as the largest solid granite monument in the world. You’ll then transfer back to Boston, where you’ll receive a drop-off at select hotels.

This day trip that you advertised was very miss leading!!! We never got to see Cape Cod. We were expecting to see the beaches at Cape Cod and the homes and lighthouses. Instead we were on a boring trip to a Floral museum and an Indian museum in Plymouth that nobody enjoyed. The food at the Indian museum was below average. We did get to see Plymouth Rock.

Very enjoyable day! Jeff was a great tour guide!! He was very informative and accommodating! Sandwich, Massachusetts was such a beautiful little town! Eat at Beths if you get a chance!! Plimoth Plantation was very educational!

The tour was great, but the driver was a bit too political in his presentation. We all have a right to have and express our opinions, but not expound on them over a microphone to a captive audience.

The tour guide was very knowledgeable about Boston. We especially enjoyed the Plymouth Plantation because we saw skits, readings, actors dressed up in costumes, and included audience participation. It was a great trip and would recommend it to anyone.

The person driving bus was not knowledgeable in the Plymouth. He was nice, but somewhat lazy.

Brilliant well organised friendly trip. Very hot weather 93 degrees but plenty opportunity to rest in shade. Interesting 17 th century visit and cars in museum out of this world
