We found this an interesting and relaxing day. Dino was our tour guide. He was both friendly and knowledgeable, flexible on the exact detail of the day while also ensuring we saw everything we could. We loved an additional stop at the start of the tour to see a monument to the person who wrote the national anthem with pipes to play the tune nearby. Kumrovec was a lovely heritage village as well as the birthplace of Tito.Trakoscan Castle was impressive on the outside with a nice walk up to it the inside exhibits weren't particularly interesting to us but good to see and we were only there perhaps three-quarters of an hour so that was fine. Varazdin was a nice wander in a well kept town with an historic and local feel. All in all a gentle day that made a change from our usual busier sightseeing pace - all from a comfortable air conditioned vehicle with a perfect guide. I think you can book this tour with Kumrovec but we found that a good part of the tour. Additionally it is a visit outside Zagreb without going miles.

The tour guide was more like a driver.
He let us wonder by our self in Kumrovec and Trakoscan Castle without even telling about audio guide availability.

Excellent driver and guide Dino and friend, very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about their homeland. Very informative and full of little tidbits about Zagreb. Made the tour very enjoyable despite the rain that arrived just as we were to visit Varazdin!
