What To Expect
Enjoy the high point of your Chicago visit with this admission to 360 Chicago (John Hancock Observatory), 94 stories up in one of the country’s tallest buildings. Anyone looking to get an incredible view of the unique lakefront landscape and scenic architecture of Chicago will enjoy this sky-high excursion.
Make your own way to the 360 Chicago entrance, located along Michigan Avenue. Once inside the building, step into a high-speed elevator that will whisk you more than 90 stories above the ground at a speed of 20.5 mph (33 kph). As the doors open, make your way to the floor-to-ceiling windows as you enjoy incredible aerial views of the Windy City in all four cardinal directions.
Depending on the time of day you visit and the season, you’ll see all manner of interesting highlights. Morning and afternoon tend to give Lake Michigan a richer blue tint, while sunset offers the perfect opportunity for a romantic moment. After dark, the city sparkles down below.
Those who have worked up an appetite from the high altitude can stop by BAR 94, for a delicious array of gelato, Italian coffee, cocktails, and light bites.

We do make multiple mentions that there is no refund for low visibility and make it clear to guests prior to scanning their tickets on days that there there is low or now visibility. I do not recommend Viator, they sold me the tickets for John Hancock, but when I went up to the 95th floor, it turns out that it was closed for maintenance, nobody notified us, we only paid to go up in an elevator, and look, it was closed, big fraud

We thought we were buying tickets for the Willis Tower and found when we got there, they were for the 360 Chicago at the J Hancock. Figuring we were going to be late we tried to contact Viator and found you can't call and customer service closes at 5 pm. It was 5:06. Took a chance and went to JH Bldg. Worked out bc clouds cleared and it was beautiful.
Found several others did the same thing and Viator must know because others tried getting a refund said its on their website there are no refunds for booking wrong destination.
