Be ready for pickup at your Da Nang hotel at 7:30am. Put on your helmet and choose to either drive your own motorbike or ride along with a driver/guide. Please note that international travelers may drive a motorbike only if they possess a Vietnamese driver's license.
Take off from the city, bound for the lush countryside that surrounds the UNESCO-listed My Son Sanctuary, once the center of the Kingdom of Champa. The ride takes about one hour, depending on conditions. Listen as your guide points out the highlights of the temple complex, which dates back to the 7th century AD.
Pause for lunch at a traditional Vietnamese restaurant, featuring dishes such as duck, salad, and Phu Chiem-style Quang noodles.
After lunch, head back to Da Nang, stopping along the way at area attractions such as Vina House, the Nguyen Van Tiep carpentry village, and the village of Phuoc Kieu.
Return to your hotel in Da Nang around 4:30pm.
