Cooking class was great and our children liked getting to do the cooking themselves. The craft villages tour in the afternoon was not very good. Seemed like we were walked through some streets with shops to buy trinkets. The guide didn't really offer much in the way of information.

This was a terrible tour in so many ways. Our tour guide, Hoang, slept on the drive to Hoi An and provide virtually no commentary during the entire tour. This was scheduled to be an 8 hour tour which should have ended at approximately 3PM. After they took us to lunch at a different restaurant than was promised in the literature, we asked when the cooking class would start and they wanted us to sit and wait 2.5 hours for it to start and it would end at 7:30 PM. We were booked on another excursion for 6:00 PM so this was a problem. The craft village visit really felt like a series of tourist traps. They brought us back to the hotel so we could make our other excursion and gave us a free dinner in Hanoi later in our trip to try to make up for what they admitted was bad information they had provide Viator!!! This trip was a rip-off from the start. The sad part is the cooking class looked like that it would have been very interesting.
