Paddle a kayak to Aquafari Culebra during this excursion from Ceiba. Journey from Ceiba to Culebra via local ferry, then get outfitted with your kayaking gear and launch from the unspoiled Tamarindo Beach. Kayak into the Luis Pena Marine Reserve to snorkel and swim around the coral reefs and the seagrass beds frequented by turtles. Soak up the sun at Flamenco Beach, where you can purchase lunch before heading back to Ceiba. Light snacks and all snorkeling and kayaking equipment are included.
  • Round-trip ferry from Ceiba to Culebra and all equipment included as an added convenience
  • Led by expert snorkeling and kayaking guides
  • Snorkel among coral formations, tropical fish, and sea turtles
  • Unwind at one of the world's top beaches—Flamenco Beach
  • Enjoy a full-day kayaking and snorkeling excursion to Culebra
Make your way to the Ceiba Ferry Terminal to begin your day's kayaking adventure. Check in with the host, who fills you in on the day's details. Be sure to bring a swimsuit, towel, and sun protection; it is recommended to eat a hearty breakfast to fuel you up for the day's activities ahead.

Board the ferry for the ride to Culebra, relax and enjoy the tropical scenery on the way. You are met by a guide as you disembark, then check in at the adventure center and munch some provided snacks as you complete some paperwork. Restrooms and changing areas are available onsite.

Transfer to Tamarindo Beach, on the west coast of Culebra, where you launch your kayaks and explore for the remainder of the tour. Paddle through the calm, warm waters of the Luis Pena Marine Reserve before slipping on your snorkel gear and diving in. In the company of your guide, see impressive coral formations and schools of tropical fish before heading to shore for some snacks and refreshments. Rest a bit while your guide fills you in on the history and ecosystem of Culebra, then head back into the water to explore the seagrass beds frequented by stingrays, green and hawksbill turtles.

Continue to Flamenco Beach, where you can purchase food for lunch and relax in the sun. Your guide meets you at the Flamenco Beach parking lot for the trip back to the Culebra Ferry Terminal, after which you travel back to Ceiba.

Make sure you email aquafari to get a good link to the ferry’s location. The guide was waiting at the entrance to the ferry with the red aquafari T-shirt. They take good care of you. We had two nice kayaking and snorkeling sessions and then bought some beers and spent time at flamenco beach. Bring backpack with towel and lunch or buy lunch at flamenco beach. We didn’t need water shoes, they provided fins and we left our sandals ashore

This was our favorite tour during our trip to Puerto Rico! My family of four thoroughly enjoyed being able to kayak out to various spots so that we could snorkel through beautiful coral reefs. We saw turtles, jelly fish, sting rays and fish. All of the staff were very professional, knowledgable and kind. They did an amazing job of making sure everyone was having a good time. It was apparent how much they enjoyed their jobs and respected the environment. Eduardo was an AWESOME guide! The trip to Flamenco beach was incredible as we were able to see some of the most beautiful shades of blue water imaginable. I highly recommend booking this tour for a once-in-a-lifetime experience!

Our family of six booked this tour and were very much pleased with the trip! Our main guide, Rafe, was great! As well as the assistant guides who all were pretty humorous and helpful. We had our children aged 9-14 who loved every moment of it! We saw amazing sea life and took in the beautiful sites. The beach was great, though our time was shortened due to the late departure of the ferry from Farjado. which totally out of the control of the tour provider. Overall, a great day excursion!

Definitely worth doing. Rafie was energetic and kept our spirits up even when the tide was rough and we didn't want to paddle our kayak anymore. The coral reef and the turtles were amazing up close, and Flamenco beach was nice too. Bring a towel!
