Make your way to the stunning Siena Cathedral, constructed of striped black and white marble, for a tour of its truly unique interior.

Relax afterward with a 3-course lunch at a local restaurant or winery, enjoying plates of bruschetta, pasta or other regional favorites, complemented by Italian wine.

Continue to the medieval hilltop town of San Gimignano, known for its towers, visible for miles over the cityscape. Soak up some free time to wander the local shops and streets at your own pace.

Reunite with your guide and head next to Pisa and enjoy additional time to discover the city on your own. Check out Pisa Baptistery, the Duomo, or snap a photo with famous Leaning Tower of Pisa.

Traveler Tips

Also, if you want to sit with your family on the large tour bus, you may want to arrive super, SUPER early.
Also there are no bathrooms on the bus, so taking time for a big group to use restrooms was also a problem.

Beautiful countryside
Shibani_K, Jun 2022
The countryside and Pisa were breathtaking beautiful. The guide was not good though, she barely spoke. Enjoyed San Gimignano the most!
Pisa, Siena and San Gimignano day trip
VIJEYRAJ_G, Jun 2022
Everything of the tour was fantastic from start to finish. The wine tasting and meals was very good and highly recommended. Trip to Siena and San Gimignano was an eye opener and very interesting. Highly recommended.
Know before you go
Nancy_B, Jun 2022
Thought we signed up for small group van tour. Big bus, quite crowded. Tour guides were good but bus had to park quite far from entrances. Clocked about 15,000 steps so don’t go if you can’t walk a lot on uneven surfaces. Vineyard lunch wasn’t good at all but understandably due to size of groups. I have done a small group van Viator tour that was great. This was a pretty bad experience and family with me on the tour might never forgive me!
Very friendly tour guides
CHRISTINA_K, Jun 2022
Fast paced tour to cover all the destinations. Very friendly and organized tour guides ,that made us feel safe and amused the whole time. We especially loved the tour at the winery and Sienna was our favourite town. Many thanks to Tabatha and Marco! Hope to see you again in the future.
It was great to visit...
MARY_A, Jun 2022
It was great to visit smaller towns—especially San Gimignano. Pisa was not too crowded either, so this was a great time for an excursion.
Sienna to Pisa
Linda_C, Jun 2022
The best part of this trip was the winery visit. Too long of day, too much walking in heat for many people. You could shorten this trip and make it more enjoyable. The tour guides were good but way too many people to hear and we spent too much time waiting for group to gather. A winery tour of Tuscan region would be great. Skip either Sienna or Pisa.
Fun day trip to see Tuscany.
Vera_C, Jun 2022
The places we visited were beautiful, and the stop at the vineyard was fun! Great host, delicious food, wine tasting and experience. Highly recommend visiting the cathedral in Siena! Our local guide Elena gave us a fantastic tour with fun facts about Siena. Unfortunately our tour guide for the day trip, Sandro, was disorganized and disengaged.
Terrific day
Francesco_C, Jun 2022
The trip starts very early, and ends late; however there is no way to see everything in a shorter period of time. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and very good at her job, as was her assistant Sasha. There was exactly enough time at every stop, except maybe Pisa was a bit longer than needed especially being at the end of the day when everybody is tired. The only improvement would be a bathroom on the bus. It is an incredibly long day and with high tourism you can waste most of your time in bathroom lines.

Glorified transportation
Sarah_P, Jun 2022
This is really just glorified transportation. You spend about half the day in a bus (that has barely functional AC) traveling from place to place. The guides are kind and nice, but the group is MASSIVE (76 in ours in late June 2022). Little flexibility for seeing what you want or spending more time somewhere of you choose to. The family winery was nice, but no options for lunch other than standard or vegetarian.
Awful customer service,...
Jochebed_C, Jun 2022
Awful customer service, rude agents and your guides. Spend your money elsewhere. We booked this for our honeymoon and after the experience we had we wished we had gone somewhere else.

Tuscany fun
punit_a, Jun 2022
The tour was very good and was cost effective with lot of things to see around . A well planned and timed tour

Good experience
Carla_G, Jun 2022
Very complete tour to experience three locations in a day. Well organized and timely. Just enough free time at each location. The only thing that would have been better, would have been more instruction as to suggestions as what to see during free time. Tour was conducted simultaneously in Spanish and English. Bus drop off at each location requires quite a bit of walking— not sure that is clearly called out when buying the tour. This includes uphill and uneven surfaces.
Everything was excellent....
Fernando_S, Jun 2022
Everything was excellent. Good information, places, food. This trip was the best decision to take for short time .
10/10 would recommend
Cory_H, Jun 2022
Vera and Raul were absolutely amazing. So accommodating, and the tour itself was gorgeous. I also had plenty of time in each stop to see all I wanted to see
Taste of Tuscany in one day!
Priyanka_K, Jun 2022
The places we visited gave us a real flavour of Tuscany. The lunch and selection of wines as part of wine tasting were amazing. The only not so great part of the tour was lots and lots of walking to reach the places due to bus parking situation. Overall, great day out and good value for money.
Three great cities
Nick_B, Jun 2022
Nathan did a wonderful job of explaining the sites in each city and keeping everyone in time where levee we went. She did a wonderful job. Seeing 3 cities in one day is no easy task as we had about 1:30 in each city. The vistas are beautiful. I’d recommend to someone that has little time and wants to see a lot.
A must!!!!
Kristiann_C, Jun 2022
I was a little nervous about doing this solo knowing it would be a long day after reading previous reviews however I have to say this was the actual highlight of my 12 day trip! It was such a phenomenal experience to get to see these locations, meet new people and have a nap in the middle of the ride from one place to the next! Marco was so fun and full of energy! The food was incredibly delicious and they very super accommodating to me who has a nut and other food allergy for the lunch part! I will say Pisa was ‘cool’ but Kind of a waste because the one pic by the tower was really all it had to offer. I do think if they ended the tour after San Gimignano and gave us more time there and at the winery it would be an absolute perfect excursion! Long long day! Wear sneakers!

amazing Day
Tracy_F, Jun 2022
Loved this tour! Amazing guides with great history and info. Lunch stop at Winery was awesome. Can’t wait for our wine and olive oil and balsamic we ordered to arrive!!!! Wish we had more time in San Ginignamo and Sienna…. So much beauty!! Bus had good AC!!!
Valentina was...
Ryan_K, Jun 2022
Valentina was fantastic…very informative, easy to relate to and understand. She made the trip great!
Not the best use of time
Alicia_C, Jun 2022
Not worth it in my opinion. This was the most unorganized tour I’ve ever been on. Not sure what the purpose of the guide on the bus is other than to herd sheep as he provided no information to us about our stops. The long bus rides between the stops would be the perfect time to provide information - even if read from a script or provided via an audio or video recording. So much wasted time waiting for not only our guide and our bus, but for other attendees in our very large (53) tour group who did not show up at the set time to head back to the bus. Lots of walking. Lunch was not filling. Very little free time to explore winery (organized sit down wine tasting was a waste of precious time in my opinion) and Pisa. Too much time in Siena. Would have liked more time in San Gimignano. Overall, the only positive thing about this tour is that it takes care of the travel logistics for you.
