This tour is seriously overpriced for what it offers. While the views are beautiful, they are certainly not worth the 4 hour drive to the canyon and back. Be sure to select a date with great weather otherwise the whole experience is tarnished. The drive is not pleasant during the rain and neither are the hikes to the canyons. Weather also affects your ability to raft through the canyon, which makes the 4 hour drive more so not worth it.
Given the amount paid to cover the tour, you are still paying entry fees to enter and partake in activities. Okatse canyon offers a hike from the visitor centre to the canyon, or another option is van transfer which is also a rip off but in bad weather you have no choice.
Our driver George was very knowledgable and nice. He accomodated extra requests we had asked for while we were in the countryside taking us to buy honey for example. However his driving especially after the second half of the tour was terrible. It was disappointing to know that our tour guide was being reckless by speeding while driving down the mountain, putting our safety at risk. That really upset me.
We were so tired towards the end of the tour and it was getting so late that we decided to skip Kinchkha waterfall. I would really say that the weather plays a big role in the enjoyment of this tour and if there is a slight hint of rain - i wouldn't suggest you reconsider.
