Your tour starts with pickup at midnight at your hotel in Sharm El-Sheikh for transfer to the bus terminal to board the bus for Cairo. A tour representative takes care of the details until the bus leaves; when you arrive in Cairo in the morning, your private Egyptologist guide will be waiting for you.
With your guide, hop aboard a private air-conditioned van with Wi-Fi — your vehicle for your ancient Egypt sightseeing adventure. Head first to the Pyramids of Giza, a UNESCO World Heritage–listed complex that includes the Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu), aka the Great Pyramid of Giza, the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World with a construction date of around 2500 B.C. Plus, see the Pyramid of Chephren and the Pyramid of Mycerinus.
Then marvel at the Great Sphinx, also part of the complex, before continuing your tour to the burial ground of Saqqara to see the Step Pyramid of Djoser, the ruins of the Pyramid of Unas, the Unas causeway, the Pyramid of Userkaf, and the Pyramid of Teti, where you can go inside to see the pyramid texts and the tomb of Kagemni.
Lunch is included at a local restaurant. Your tour ends with the bus ride from Cairo back to Sharm El-Sheikh, where you'll be returned to your hotel for drop-off.
