Meet your small-group tour at Ruyifang Subway Station, Exit B a little before 10am. Numbers are limited to 12 people on this small-group tour, ensuring you'll spend an intimate day with a small group of like-minded food lovers.
Once your group is ready to get going, follow your guide as he or she leads you through Guangzhou. Along the way, learn about what it’s like to be a local, and pop in eateries to taste some of the area’s best Cantonese dishes.
Your first stop is at a well-known Cantonese restaurant down Duabao Road known for its changfen (rice flour rolls). Next, make your way along Enning Road where you can meet brass-making craftsmen who still practice the same techniques of their ancestors. Take a break at Guangzhou’s most popular dessert spot, and snag a double-steamed milk and ginger milk pudding before heading to Hualin Buddhist Temple.
Afterward, get back to tasting food with a sample of noodles and soups by Changshou Road. Then, try coconut, mango, and durian ice cream, fish skin, and steamed Tingzai porridge. Your tour ends at the Liwan Museum where you can explore on your own or go in a different direction.
