Make your way to the main Innsbruck station, and board the Swarovski Crystal Worlds shuttle bus at 4:40pm.
After a short journey to Wattens, you’ll arrive at the attraction in time to see its 17-acre (7-hectare) garden transformed into a magical illuminations site with displays of light and sound. Hop off the bus, and head inside the exhibitions of Swarovski Crystal Worlds.
Visit the Crystal Cloud, which showcases some 800,000 crystals — all mounted by hand. Wander around the Chambers of Wonder to gaze in awe at artistic crystal installations, designed by contemporary artists, then discover the garden with its centerpiece water feature known as the Giant.
Lit up for the Festival of Light, the garden comes to life after 5pm with lights and coordinated sound effects. Spread around four installations, the festival aims to portray a world of contrasts.
If you’re feeling hungry, stop to eat in the on-site café and restaurant by the garden, and gaze out over the light displays. Your return transport departs from the main entrance at 7:05pm, so hop aboard and relax on the journey back to Innsbruck.
