Why Travelers Choose This Tour
Traveling in a luxury Mercedes coach helps make this full day of sightseeing both comfortable and relaxing.
Depart from London and travel out of the city in your air-conditioned coach toward the majestic Windsor Castle. Home of the British Royal Family for 900 years, and location for the 2018 Royal Wedding, Windsor is the world's largest and oldest occupied castle and widely considered one of England’s finest. Explore the lavishly-decorated State Apartments and St George's Chapel with your guide and hear of the castle’s fascinating history and heritage. Continue on through the rolling green Wiltshire landscape to Stonehenge, a collection of stones dragged to this lonely plain near Salisbury 5,000 years ago. This ancient stone circle is still a place of strong spiritual significance, and continues to capture the imagination of the many visitors it welcomes each year. Why the stones were placed here and what purpose they served remains a mystery though, so wander around the site at your leisure and decide for yourself why these age-old rocks have found themselves here. Take a look around the visitors’ center and learn the history of this ancient, mysterious site. During your visit enjoy a free interactive map and VOX personal headset that is exclusive to this tour. Next, hop back in your coach and continue onward to Bath, famous for its elegant Georgian architecture and widely considered one of England’s prettiest cities. Follow your guide on a panoramic tour of Bath and be enchanted by the town's beautiful streets and alleyways, capturing the sites on camera as you go. You'll see Bath Abbey and the much-photographed Pulteney Bridge, modeled on the Ponte Vecchio in Florence. During the tour, you will see the city’s famous Roman Baths — the best preserved Roman spa from the ancient world. At the end of your time in Bath, travel back to London’s Victoria Coach Station where your day trip concludes.
My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Simon, our amazing tour guide and Kevin, the safest driver in the UK. We loved Simon's determination to keep everyone on schedule. By doing so, all the guests were able to get the most out of the tour. Simon was very knowledgeable about local history story and colluquy derivatives. He made our long journey to the countryside an enjoyable trek. Kevin was not only a safe driver, but very hospitable, too.
This was a great trip in spite of the heat wave in Europe and the heat! The tour guide did a great job, and it was so easy to find out where to meet! Absolutely loved Windsor castle, Stonehenge, and Bath was a good way to end the all day tour. Expert guide, luxury bus, and no rain made the day one to remember!
The service was great: organised and punctual, information was clear and easy to follow. The tour ran very smoothly, and our guide (Mel) was excellent, very knowledgeable and funny.
The only downside is that it's a lot to see in just one day, so time is quite short on each stop (especially for Windsor Castle), and we spend a great deal of time going from one place to another. You can definitely get a taste of each place though!
This was a long, tiring day but well worth it for a good overview when you don't have a lot of time. All venues were really interesting and probably worth a whole day in themselves. Bus was comfortable and our guide Mel was really great. Very entertaining and extremely knowledgeable.
This tour was so amazing and so much fun. We had Phil as our tour guide, who is so full of information and interestimg facts about London, he is also very invested in everyone on the bus, makes sure everyone ia enjoying themselves and he is hilarious! I highly reccomend this tour, you get roughly two hours in each spot which never seems like enough time to walk slowly through every place but if your looking for a tour where you dont need loads of time at these places then take this tour, its amazing!!
This tour was very efficient but we felt like we were rushed at every stop. The coach was well air conditioned but the seats were cramped. Overall, we spent 6 of the 11 hours of the tour on the road.
My advice-don’t do too much in one day!
The Evans Tour company really impressed. This was a jammed packed day and our guide Deborah was really great. Very entertaining... she runs a tight ship but kept us on schedule and entertained throughout the day. These are 3 "must sees" in England and this was the best Viator tour we've ever had.
