Then pop into a number of the renowned bars where various Hollywood stars have socialized, ate and drank over the years. Some of these hotspots of yesteryear still make an occasional cameo in films and on TV. But your guide will also reveal a number of lesser-known anecdotes, featuring the city’s rotating cast of mobsters and a hush-hush “Writer’s Room” that contribute to the unique atmosphere that persists to this day. Along the way you’ll enjoy select drink tastings, and also have a chance to sample the diverse street food found in the neighborhood. You may even spot a celebrity or two during your visit.
