Make your own way to the tourist office in Porta Sant'Anna in time for a 7am departure from Lucca, then relax on the around 1-hour journey to Florence. Your shuttle arrives at the Santa Maria Novella train station in Florence, where you’ll meet your guide and pick up your Vespa.
Set out from Florence at 9am and soak up the scenery as you drive through the picturesque countryside of the Tuscan hills, admiring the beautiful vineyards, medieval castles, and pretty villages of the Chianti wine region. Along the way, stop at several viewpoints to take photos, spot landmarks like the Monteriggioni fortress, and hear more about Tuscany’s renowned landscapes.
Continue to a local farm to learn more about the region’s Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, then sample the famous wines for yourself as you tuck into a delicious lunch of typical Tuscan cuisine (included).
After a full day exploring the Chianti wine region, arrive back at Florence train station around 5.30pm. Your return shuttle to Pisa departs around 8.30pm.
