We had a great trip to the Atlas mountains. We were picked up at a square near our riad and taken first to ride the camels, wgwhi was quite short a ride but very pleasant. The next stop was at an argan oil place, which felt quite touristy, but the tea and snacks were nice. After about an hour's drive, we arrived in the village where we set off on a hike. First to a waterfall, then through a village and finally descended back to the valley. The hike was pretty easy even though we ascended to alnalm 2km. Wear good shoes! The lunch was served at a pleasant riad with gorgeous views. Overall, the trip was a success: the driver and the guide were very nice, the views were amazing, and there were nice shopping opportunities in the villages, but no pressure to buy anything. I would totally recommend this trip to anyone looking to get out of Marrakesh on a day trip!

Omar and our driver were so lovely and professional from start to finish of our tour. We really felt like we encountered the real Morrocco and Berber community. It was a highlight of our holiday. Omar our guide was so kind, full of interesting facts about the Berber culture and his surrounding area and brought us into this home and village with such a warm welcome. I could not fault this element of the tour. Only note I would have to the organisers is I do think there should be a note about how active the hike is, thankfully our group was of reasonable fitness but we all wore completely the wrong footwear for the hike and think it should be noted you need to have either a good pair of boots or runners with good grip since you really do climb up 2000 ft and the down the other side of the mountain on rough terrain. We chose the "private" tour option which means you share the transport with two other people but 4 other people join the hike, which just makes the whole encounter more interesting. In our group alone there was 8 of us having a cup of tea in Omar's house in a remote Berber village and we all came from completely different countries and backgrounds, it was kind-of surreal and something we will remember. So our advice for fellow travellers - wear sensible footwear with a good grip, don't feel pressure to buy anything if you don't want to (you are brought to markets and co-op's etc.), although the women working in the Co-op are either widowed, divorced or sick and this is their only place they can work, so spend money here if you are going to spend it on anything on this tour. Enjoy every second of it!

The driver Asif was very professional and an excellent driver. He was on time and very helpful. We went on a camel ride at first which was well organised and the camels were well looked after. Our trip was a memorable experience, marvellous views through the Atlas Mountains. We could not speak highly enough of our guide Hassan. His knowledge and his spoken English was very good. We were able to see traditional homes and lifestyles. Our lunch was excellent. Away from the busy city of Marrakesh it was so rewarding to see different areas that depicts the real Morocco.

330/5000The trip was very well organized and we liked it a lot. Especially our tour guide Karim was very helpful and showed us a lot and explained. Overall, we enjoyed the trip.Unfortunately, we were traveling with another couple. Actually, we had expected a private tour for two and not for four .

We had a great time with Hassan on this trip. Bit of confusion with the collection as we had been told by the office to meet at a location whereas Hassan had gone to our Riad. Soon sorted and Hassan picked us up. Couple of hours on the road through the winding mountain roads and clearly he knew the roads well as many were damaged following land slides. Arriving in the mountains we were joined by another family who came on the walk with us. The guide was patient waiting where required (I had been full of a cold for a couple of days and have a heart condition). The area is really beautiful and the local guide knew everything about the area. Lunch was a lovely tagine prepared and cooked in the home. Overall amazing experience I would do again with a warm welcoming host.

We really enjoyed this tour. Our guide Said meet us early and led us to our driver, Abdul. Both were friendly and helpful the entire day. Said even brought us into his home for tea, a wonderful moment of seeing a part of his life that he shared. The rest of the tour was also fun and beautiful. The mountains look gorgeous, and it we enjoyed hearing about the extensive history of the valley and villages. It also gave a us a nice variety of activities: camel riding, hiking, eating, touring the local villages - the day felt varied and interesting. You could feel the hospitality of the people - especially our guide and driver. Thank you again to Said and Abdul, and we would recommend this tour!

Precise pick up by our perfect guide Rashid, an Atlas mountain local who obviously was very proud to show us his homeland and provided very useful and interesting information all the way. Beautiful sceneries, a fun camel ride and a great hike through a hillside village, following a little river to a waterfall where we got served fresh pressed, cold juice. The day ended with a lunch in a village house chicken Tajine.., which, if I should add anything that could change, could be a bit more time efficient in the end I had to look up our guide as, after 2 hours by the table, we were done and ready for departure... A highly recommendable guided day trip and a welcome break from the busy/noisy down town Marrakech. A good tip is to bring a bottle of water, wear a hat or a cap and comfortable and practical footwear mountain shoes not necessary, but avoid sandals and flipflops...

When we had only a day and a half in Marrakech, this tour was an easy choice for the full day—it had camels! By the end of the day the camels were just a side bar to the of spending a day in the mountain region with our guides Mestafa and Hasan.
Mestafa came right at 9, oriented us to the day, and took great care that we were comfortable and made sure we had everything we would need for the day. The car was nice and had a good air conditioner. We felt very safe. He is a superior driver and it was nice to see that everyone he knew along the way greeted him so warmly and with such respect. Mestafa encouraged us to let him know any time we wanted to stop to take a photo and he took several photos of us as a group.
Argan oil stop. At first we worried it was like macadamia places in Hawaii—until we saw the quality of the oil and the very reasonable prices compared with Marrakech. Later in the day when we heard that these are the only places widows, single women, divorced can work—wished I had purchased more.
Riding the camels was everything we had hoped, very safe and so much fun. The views became more and more spectacular until we arrived in the town of Imlil. The tagines cooking at the roadside stands smelled so good I said “Oh, I’m hungry! Smells so good! When do you think we might eat?” (Also being diabetic I was worried about managing my insulin pump if exercise was coming up). Mestafa was going to rearrange the entire day to take us to the guesthouse for lunch right then! Not even my family would be as accommodating.
We had tea with our guide for the hike, Hassan. He was very sensitive to my concerns about low blood sugar, maintained a manageable pace and even carried my bag the whole time so I could have an easier time. The walk through the villages wasn’t too strenuous. It was our 11-year-old’s favorite part of our time in Morocco. So much insight into history, people, society, agriculture, way of life! Our tremendous appreciation and thanks to Mestafa and Hassan! And to the gentleman who welcomed us to his guest house for lunch. Thank you!
We hope to return, we hope it is soon, and we hope it will be with Mestafa and Hassan.
