The tour to the Atlas Mountains was thoroughly enjoyable and I would recommend to other travelers. The tour was well organized, and our guide, Ishmael (or Asma'eel?), was really good. He spoke English fluently, was knowledgeable, had quite an outgoing personality, and seemed like a nice guy. He did a good job of giving the group good information and encouraging conversation among the small group.

The tour of the mountains and valleys was beautiful, and they timed it so that we visited the most traveled parts (Ourika valley) early before the crowds showed up. Also, unlike some other tours I've experienced in Morocco, they didn't take us to carpet, silk, leather or other stores to try to pressure us to buy things. I really appreciate that.

This was a small group tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of information about the Moroccan people. The hike to the water falls was easy and mint tea afterwards was unexpected. The meal at the Berber families home was delicious. This tour was the highlight of my trip to Morocco.

I definitely recommend this tour. My husband and I had already spent nearly two weeks traveling Morocco. We did this tour at the end of our trip. And, wow, we saved the best for last! Abdul was our tour guide for the day. Not only was he super knowledgeable but he was extremely friendly and fun. The convenience of leaving from Marrakech made accessing the tour easy. If you're only in Marrakech for a short time, do yourself a favor, save one day for this tour. Morocco is such a diverse country with so much beauty. Get out there and experience it.

Couldnt give this tour a higher recommendation!
Ismail guide and driver was absolutely fantastic: knowledgeable, friendly and funny. He told us about the areas we were visiting, the people who live there and also made great conversation about our own countries. The tour itself was so well organised. Pick up was a breeze, the Argan oil co-op visit was lovely they accept card and cash and the hike was full of beautiful scenery and included a drink at the end. Be aware that you need good sturdy shoes for this hike though, and feel confident jumping streams and rock to rock. The scenery through the mountains was beautiful although we had a very foggy day and Ismail stopped anytime there was something we particularly wanted photos of e.g goats climbing trees as well as knowing all the best scenery lookouts for photos. Lunch was delicious, and plentiful even in the midst of Ramadan. The van itself was in excellent condition also and we were very comfortable during the day, and there were bathrooms at every main stop. No one demanded tips, but we gave some anyway.

it was indeed one of the most adventurous trips for me, discovering the magnifique High Atlas mountains and valleys! abdul our guide and driver was very informative. a plus point, he's also an excellent photographer to help us with some scenic shots! :
we found the hike at the Ourika valley pretty risky with all the slippery rocks by the waterfalls. unfortunately, we did not really expect the steep hikes and climbs plus without proper steps and railings!, so we were definitely not geared up for it. in the end instead of following the group to reach the highest point, we just hung around to chillax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings!
it was such a pleasure to enjoy a traditional home-cooked berber lunch served in a local home on the mountains the most delicious tanjine i've tested during the entire trip. we will highly reco this tour for anyone looking for some adventure in Marrakech!

We really enjoyed this tour. It was great to get away from the crowds of the city and see the Moroccan countryside. A lot of time is spent in the minibus, admiring the beautiful views, but with plenty of breaks and photo stops. The stop at the argan oil cooperative was very informative, and although we were given a demonstration of the products available, we appreciated the fact there was no hard sell a refreshing change from our experience so far in Marrakech!. The location for lunch cooked by a local family was quite spectacular. Ismail was a great guide - chatty, informative and friendly. Highly recommended.

This was a fantastic experience! We were greeted by our driver and guide Mohammad, who was very friendly, welcoming and knowledgable. He explained the sights we passed and answered any questions we had about the local history and culture. We visited the local Berber towns in the mountains and had a professional guide hike with us up parts of the mountain. We visited a local family who cooked us traditional tagine - it was beautiful and plentiful!
Overall, a fantastic day!
