Great show, go see, transfers went like clockwork, the food was for this type of event more than ample both in size and quality. The entertainment was also good, we were not asked once for money by the performers and the highlight of the evening was the skills and horse mounted display.

Overall, this was a good experience. While scheduling the pickup from our local Riad, Navette Tours was very accommodating. Latifa was awesome! He was very courteous, responsive, and helped us with our scheduling, explaining everything about the pickup. He also coordinated with the personnel at our hotel Riad Des Eaux et Spa to make sure they could explain the pickup to us because the Riad is located the heart of Medina where cars are not able to drive directly up to the door. For the pickup arrangements and Latifa's great customer service, I would give 5 stars!

The gentleman that drove us from our Riad to the event was also great. We met him at a spot close to our Riad and he took us directly to the event location. The driver even escorted us into the restaurant and to our table. And, he was promptly waiting for us when we left the event. I am having trouble remembering his name, but I think it was Karim. He pronounced in a way where he rolled the K :-. I would give him 5 stars for his welcoming attitude, courtesy, and escorting us in a way that made us feel special.

For the dinner portion, I give 2.5 to 3 stars. First, the food for dinner was good and well prepared. We had lamb, chicken, and vegetables. They served fresh, whole fruit for dessert apples, bananas, etc.. However, the service for dinner was a little disorganized. The waiters were slow to take our drink order. We only ordered bottled mineral water, while two other couples at our table ordered wine. My husband and another gentleman at the table had to remind the waiter at least three times to bring our drinks. Dinner had been served and we still did not have drinks. The waiter finally remembered to bring the wine to the two other couples at the table, but, never brought our bottled water. My husband finally got up and got a bottle of water from a nearby stand/table that had a few bottles sitting on it.

While eating, we were serenated by a variety of singers and entertainers. Unfortunately, they did not sing that well and seemed disorganized. One of the female singers looked tired and hardly danced or singed. The group moved from table to table while we were eating and some tried to engage us and get some to dance with them. Timing is everything, so I found trying to dance with them a little distracting while we were trying to eat. To improve, I would suggest they implement a more organized performance by having one group sing and play music from one location in the room where the guests can watch. And, belly dancers can dance in the center of the room so guests can eat and watch. They can engage the guests when dessert is served. Lastly, my husband and I speak English. However, others at the table did not. The restaurant should consider sitting people that speak the same language at the same table. We understand that this may not always be possible. However, we heard other English speakers at the table next to us.

The horse show started late, but, I must say it was awesome! The men were outstanding horseman and it was exciting to watch. If you go in the Fall time, I would recommend taking a light jacket as the show did not start until after 10:00 pm 2200 hr and the weather starting getting a little cool. We did not stay until the end, because we were getting tired after waiting so long for the show to start. I rate this show a 4 stars for the part we saw.

Mmm, I've been on too many of these tours to really appreciate this. The venue is contrived, the entertainers lack enthusiasm and the food - although plentiful- is bland. You can get better entertainment and food at Jamaa el-Fnaa. I think that its better for large tour groups who need food and entertainment on a big scale. Not so good for ordinary travellers.
