We went to the Skydeck in the morning and the Star at night. Would prefer the Skydeck over the Star. Resultantly - Only plus was that we had the entire capsule of the Star for ourself whereas the Skydeck was crowded.

Not sure how we managed it but we had a whole pod to ourselves which made this even more special.

I had the great fortune's to be able to ride the Melbourne Star and it was a beautiful afternoon when I rode it! It allows you to look out over the city of Melbourne and take in many of the great features the city has to offer. The Melbourne Star is a lot of fun and definitely worth going for a ride on it and seeing the city from high above.

We went at night and had a pod to ourselves which was great. Would think better during day though for views. Nice to see everything lit up. When we went and came out everything in area was shut which was quite disappointing!

Amazing views! Especially on sunset!

Was decent but nothing I would sell to somebody to do again. Kinda on outskirts of town and views good if you like overlooking the freeway. Can see outskirts of city, but

Went in the afternoon, there was a pre-recording played during the ride about iconic places around the wheel. The view was decent overlooking the river and CBD area but would recommend going to the eureka tower 88 floors right before sunset instead of the wheel.
