Frida Kahlo VIP: Skip-the-line plus Bikes and Churros

The bike tour was fantastic for many reasons: the bikes, the guide and history lesson, the views and sights. I’d say the biggest disappointment is that we thought this was also a bit of a taco tour. We stopped for a tostada which isn’t the same and we all had tacos on the mind. The tostada was good but not amazing. But truly it was a great way to spend a few hours. Would definitely do it again.

My friend and I did this tour yesterday. Tour guide Dani was awesome. We both highly recommend it. Such a fun way to see the area! Really enjoyed the churros and lunch that was included. The biking was easy, not a workout. And we got into the museum right away! Do this tour if you are in town!!

Wow, what a wonderful time we had. Comfortable bikes, and an easy ride along safe streets. David, our guide, gave us an enthusiast and formative tour of the area and the churros and tacos did not disappoint. Frida Kahlo's house was a pleasure to visit, a small oasis in an interesting and old neighborhood, and as part of the tour we skipped the line, which was long even for mid February. Thank you, David, for an excellent and leisurely tour.

We loved our tour of Coyoacan! The bikes are well maintained and comfortable, though a couple of larger frame bikes would certainly be appreciated by tall people. David is a stellar tour guide - we learned so many interesting historical tidbits we never could have found out otherwise! The route was easy (only about 7 km with no hills) and fun, lots of twists and turns with colourful houses, flowers, trees and beautiful streets, some of them very bumpy! The churros and atole were delicious, don’t miss an opportunity to try this Mexican drink! Lunch in the market was really fun with delicious food. David asked at the beginning of the tour whether anyone had time constraints, and hearing none gave us a lot of extra time to hang around in the square, get coffee, buy souvenirs and so on. The line at Frida’s house was long so the priority tickets were a real bonus. Just one suggestion for improvement might be for seniors. We noticed that entry into the Blue House is 25 pesos for seniors vs 250 for adults! Since this tour is quite expensive it might be nice to pass the discount on and give a reduced rate to seniors. That being said I still give this tour five stars.

David was amazing and so patient with us. Helped us understanding so many historical things and made the ride so fun.
