Your private day trip begins with hotel pickup at 8:30am, when you’ll board a vehicle destined for Moscow rail station. From here, you’ll board an express train or bus for Vladimir, a fairy tale town part of Russia’s Golden Ring.
Following a 3-hour journey, you’ll arrive in Vladimir and revitalize with lunch (own expense) before embarking on a sightseeing tour of the 10th-century town. Admire architectural highlights such as the Golden Gate Chapel, Cathedral of Saint Demetrius, Monument to Prince Vladimir And Saint Fedor, and the Andrey Rublev Statue.
Plus, you’ll have the option to visit one of Vladimir’s six museums, which are dedicated to everything from gingerbread to spoons. Following a coffee break (own expense), you’ll be transferred back to your Moscow accommodation by fast train and coach.
Alternatively, if you’re continuing to Suzdal, you’ll take a 30-minute taxi to the town and enjoy a walking tour of the city highlights. See the famous Suzdal Kremlin, the Nativity of the Virgin Cathedral, the St. Alexander Monastery, plus many more landmarks.
Your tour concludes with hotel drop-off between 10:30pm and 11:30pm.
