Leave your Sorrento hotel at 9am, and travel with your private driver along the roads of the UNESCO-listed Amalfi Coast. Gaze out of the window and soak up the Mediterranean vistas as the road winds along the seafront toward Positano, one of the most eye-catching of the coastal towns.
Admire Positano’s colorful houses that are stacked into the hillside above the bay, then continue to Amalfi to enjoy roughly two hours of free time. Pay a visit to the handsome 9th-century cathedral that commands your attention as soon as you step into the town’s main square. The pretty alleyways of the town are set up for a pleasant amble, and you’ll find an impressive collection of shops and cafes.
Back with your private driver, you’ll travel up into the hills to Ravello, a town that inspired Wagner to pen one of his operas. Discover its appeal for yourself as you cast your gaze over the Amalfi coast, to Maiori, Minori, and towns beyond. Use your time to check out Ravello’s 11th-century cathedral or head to Villa Rufolo to stroll amid its landscaped gardens.
After your visit to Ravello, travel back to Sorrento. Your day ends with a hotel or port drop-off around 5pm.
