Overview

Get beyond the city to explore Vietnam’s scenic countryside on a full-day bike tour through paddy fields, country roads, and traditional villages. You’ll learn about local life, practice making handicrafts, and sip tea in a historic house and bonsai garden. This full-day Nha Trang bike tour includes pickup and drop-off at Nha Trang hotels, all equipment, lunch, and snacks, and it’s the perfect introduction to a quieter side of Vietnamese life.
  • 8-hour bike tour from Nha Trang
  • Ride a bike through the countryside
  • Visit small villages to see handicraft and food production
  • Explore a scenic agricultural landscape
  • Includes lunch and snacks
  • Pickup and drop-off at Nha Trang hotels
Meet a driver at your hotel in central Nha Trang for 8:30am departure, then head into the countryside to start your bike tour.

Watch for buffaloes and cattle working in road-side fields, and pass long lines of rice—the fields range from deep, emerald green to golden-brown, changing with the time of year. Bikes are the perfect way to explore this quiet area, as you’ll have the flexibility to stop at the edge of the road to take photos, meet the people you pass, or simply enjoy the scenery.

See firsthand how local foods and handicrafts are made, working to weave a sedge mat, and watching production of soy milk, fish cakes, and Vietnam’s distinctive, conical hats.

Pause at a 180-year-old house to taste locally-grown fruits with a cup of green tea, then hit the road for an afternoon of pedaling. At the end of the bike tour, a driver will meet you for the return trip to Nha Trang, where this tour concludes with drop-off at your hotel.

We enjoyed our cycling tour around Nha Trang. The visits to the local shops making handicraft, carpets and rice biscuits were informative. The lunch at the restaurant was also delicious. Do note that you would be cycling mostly on the main roads with motorcycles and cars, and the tour might not be suitable for novices.
