Meet your guide early at Belihuloya and set off along the dusty trails. Wear comfortable shoes and bring clothes suitable for warm, windy, or rainy conditions.
Start to climb the winding Non Pareil Road up to the Non Pareil tea estate near World’s End. Pass tall pines, woodlands, and the picturesque Non Pareil waterfall, and admire other beauty spots pointed out by your guide. Watch for wildlife too – the biodiversity of Belihuloya makes it a haven for several species.
Break roughly every mile (1.5 kilometers) for refreshmentsand contemplate the spectacular views from the Nagrak estate, just below World’s End. Gaze down at velvety green hills and take in the Galagama, Ihala Galagama, and Silogama mountain ranges, together with Sri Lanka's distant south, reservoirs and, if the conditions are right, even the faraway Tissamaharama Dagoba temple.
Look around the Nagrak estate and its British colonial-era bungalow, and have lunch in the shadow of the World’s End escarpment. Marvel at this majestic precipice — your trip does not include hiking to the top as the weather can make it treacherous — before descending back to Belihuloya.
Stop for photos and refreshments before your hike finishes at the start point.
