After pickup from select hotels, your Oahu circle island tour starts at Pearl Harbor, where your guide shares insights and facts about the harbor and the Japanese attacks on December 7, 1941.
See historical displays at the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center, and visit the USS Arizona Memorial, constructed on the water above the remains of the USS Arizona to honor the more than 1,000 sailors and marines who died here. The audio tour provides guided information when you're on board the memorial.
Your day tour then continues toward the North Shore, taking you past changing scenery and rural landscapes. Your driver makes sure to stop at some of the most scenic locations, as well as the Dole Pineapple Plantation, where you can ride the 'Pineapple Express' train, and the Tropical Macadamia Nut Farm, where you can shop for gifts and treats, if you wish.
On the North Shore, admire the big or small waves, depending on the time of year, as you pass by Waimea Bay and the beach known as Pipeline, the venues for yearly surfing competitions. At the Polynesian Cultural Center, take a canoe ride, and then have lunch at Pounders Restaurant.
Next, the stretches from the Pali Lookout to the rocky South Shore of Oahu provide scenic views. Along the South Shore, you'll see coastal formations such as the Halona Blowhole and Rabbit Island, as well as multimillion dollar mansions around Kahala Estates.
Your tour ends with return to your starting point.
