Well, the trip started very late since some people arrived 15 minutes later. That meant not have enough time at Stonehenge. There was another thing: you have to take in mind that there'll not be anyone guiding you but just an audioguide. There you will have almost only an hour. Then, to go to Bath, you'll have only 20 minutes someone guiding you and then you'll be by yourself going inside the Roman bath's and knowing most important places your own. And only will have 2 hours and a half, that isn't enough time
The driver and tour guide have confirmed that our usual timing was taken on this day and unsure why this review has been reported with inaccurate information.
Passengers had the usual full 1 hour Bath walking tour around the best of the city (plus 20 minute extensive introduction before arriving on the coach).
Everyone then had just over 3 hours of free time.
In this free time people have the opportunity to do any extra activities they wish, such as the Roman Baths museum.
Note: The Roman Baths is a paid attraction and no tours are possible from UK Study Tours inside. If you wish to pay to enter and visit inside then its an optional activity for the day.
After 1 hour travel to Stonehenge every one had 2 hours approximately at the site, plus an extensive 20 minute introduction on the coach beforehand.
Note: Group tours around the stone circle are not possible and multi-lingual audio guides are included for everyone to use after the shuttle bus that takes people there from the coach parking area and visitor centre.
Our usual timing at destinations includes 2 hours at Stonehenge and 4 hours in Bath (of which 1 hour is a walking tour and 3 hours free time).
The guide was incredible. He was very knowledgeable about both areas and the history behind those areas. He also pointed out interesting things on the bus trip. I thought that we stayed a little long in Stonehenge and would have preferred a little extra time at Bath but it was a beautiful day!
