Head into the English countryside to visit Highclere Castle, the site of Downton Abbey, on this day trip from Oxford. You'll have the chance to see where filming took place at the real-life home of the Earl and Countess of Carnarvon and explore the grounds of the castle. Then check out the village of Bampton, which stood as Downton village, where Lady Mary, the rest of the Crawley family, and other characters spent much of their time. Lastly, take a drive through the villages of the northern Cotswolds. A stop for lunch is made at the Swan Inn in Swinbrook (not included).
