Christian was an amazing tour guide!
Fantastic tour and a great way to see Paris. You really need to be comfortable riding a bike as you go through the city like a real Parisian!! It was an awesome time.
Great way to see parts of Paris I haven't seen before. Went on a Sunday morning and there was no traffic at all.
Highly recommended. A wonderful way to see Paris
A really good chance to see parts of Paris you might not otherwise see, particularly neighborhoods, not just the attractions. . The E-Bike is a really easy, nice way to cover a lot of area in a short time and our guide, Veronica was quite knowledgeable.
It's been a bucket list item to go to Giverny for years. Finally made it. In France for a bike and barge trip. We came early for a few extra days of sight seeing in and around Paris. This looked like great fun - and it was. Our Guide - Helen - met us at the train station. She was very nice. We got very lucky - it was just the 3 of us with Helen so we had a private tour! How great is that?!?!? On the way to Vernon Helen went over some history of the region, of the impressionist movement and the art. Once there we picked up our bikes. The owner of the establishment clearly knew Helen. He was wonderful. The bikes weren't great. But they got us there and back. We had a leisurely ride. We stopped at the cathedral in Vernon. WOW! Bonus for us was that the organist was practicing. That was awesome. Then on to Giverny. Once there we went in the back door so to speak and started with the lily pond. I've always like Monet but now I love him. I could have stayed at that pond all day. Weather was perfect. Clouds reflecting in the pond. Lilys in bloom. I'm a true believer. Helen continued to provide commentary. It was clear she knew her stuff. Her English was very good. No difficulties understanding her. We toured the grounds and the house. Then we were on our own for lunch. We made the choice and we should have made a different one but it was ok. A quick stop at the church yard where Monet is buried and then we biked back to Vernon. The artist we were to visit was not available. Helen bought us an afternoon beverage and a bottle of local wine as a consolation gift. She was delightful. It was a day well spent.
Well organized trip, from the beginning at our meeting place in Paris, then on to the train to Giverny. After getting the bicycles in town it was a very picturesque ride through the town and onto a bike path to Monet's residence. It was quite crowded at the Monet residence, so the skip the line access provided was well worth it. Tour guide was very attentive and made the experience fun for the group.
The people at this place were beyond amazing. It started raining and they let me borrow their personal waterproof backpack for me to put my purse in. We lucked out and had a very small group. Would highly recommend it!!! We had a great time!
Excellent tour with a very experienced guide gave us lots of insights into Paris history and areas. We felt very safe on our bicycles as we had another team member behind us to stop traffic where necessary and also to add information as we cycled.
This was a very enjoyable tour. Virginia was very knowledgable and gave us a lot of insight into the history of the city. This is our third bike tour in Paris and it's a great way to see the city. It's also fun for our kids.
